Title Odds Lengthen

It’s often said that the Premier League tends to give a fair idea of what’s going to happen around and after christmas, and the 2010/11 Premier League season looks no different.

Chelsea have hit a real baron patch of late after a stellar start from the London based club. After picking up only one win in over a month Chelsea’s title hopes look to be slipping from their grasp as they look to face the unbeaten and in-form Manchester united next weekend in what could already be a title showdown.Chelsea have slipped out to as much as 2/1 with some bookmakers and unless their form picks up over what will be a very hectic Christmas and New Year schedule, then they could drift even further.

Manchester United on the other hand will be looking to regain their title that they lost to chelsea last season, and so far the Red Devils are unbeaten this season and are looking ominious coming into teh christmas period with odds of 6/4 reflecting this.

Arsenal have yet to win any major silverware for over 5 years and Arsene Wenger will be looking to rectify this as they form a title challenge of their own. The gunners once again boast a young but extremely talented squad, however Arsenal fans seem to be loosing a little patience, as with all the attractive football they play, they seem unable to contend over the course of a season with the likes on Manchester United and Chelsea and currently find themselves 11/4 to win another Premier League title.
